Municipality of Wassenaar: registering with the municipality for a short stay

To register in the Register voor Niet-Ingezetenen – RNI (Non-residents Records Database) you need:

• A valid identity card. This cannot be a driving licence.
• The Application form for entry in the Registratie Niet-ingezetenen – RNI (Non-residents Records Database)
• In some cases you will need to have your certificate/deed legalised or translated. You can check whether this is the case for your country on the government website (Rijksoverheid.nl – external link). Enter the name of the country where your document was issued.
• Are you registering your child(ren) under the age of 16?
  ·   They must attend the appointment in order to be entered in the RNI.    
  ·   You need to bring: an original birth certificate of your child(ren), and (if applicable) an extract or official copy of an Erkenningsakte (acknowledgement of parenthood certificate).
