Municipality of Zeist: deregistering from the municipality in the event of a long stay outside the Netherlands
NB: you can report that you are moving abroad only if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.
- Are you moving abroad on your own? If so, you can report your move online.
- Is your entire family moving abroad? If so, you must report your move to the municipality in writing.
- Do you have a samenlevingscontract (cohabitation agreement)? If so, you and your partner must report the move abroad separately.
Online
You can report your departure online on the day of your move. You need your DigiD to do this.
In writing
You can only report that you are moving abroad by post if all the members of your family are moving with you.
Fill in the form Moving abroad. Send the form to Gemeente Zeist, afdeling Burgerzaken, Postbus 513, 3700 AM, Zeist. Or send it via email.
Don't forget to send these documents
- a copy of a valid passport, Dutch identity card or residence permit for you and your family
- a copy of a plane ticket, rental agreement or labour agreement
Reporting a move is free of charge.
