You can report your departure by post if all residents at your address move with you. Complete the entire form called Declaration of departure abroad (pdf, 56 kB). Send this form, together with a copy of a valid passport, Dutch identity card or residence document to: Gemeente Arnhem, Postbus 9029, 6800 EL Arnhem  

At the counter

Want to report the departure of you and your family at the counter? Please make an appointment. Don’t forget to bring your valid proof of ID to your appointment. 

If not all residents of an address are departing abroad, all persons departing (including minors) must appear at the counter in person to make a departure declaration.

Reporting a move is free of charge.

• Reporting by email or post: 5 working days.
• Reporting at the service desk: processed immediately by the municipality.
