Municipality of Arnhem: deregistering from the municipality in the event of a long stay outside the Netherlands

You can submit your move abroad online for:

• yourself
• for your entire family (spouse, registered partner and/or children). This is only possible if:
  • all family members for whom you wish to pass on the removal are registered at your address. Family members who are not registered at your address but are moving with you must pass on their move themselves.
  • All family members for whom you wish to pass on the move will leave abroad at the same time as you. If you are not leaving at the same time, you can only pass on your removal with an appointment at the counter.
  • you do not need a proof of deregistration for all family members separately. If you do need a proof of deregistration for all family members, then all family members must submit their move separately.

If you need a certificate of deregistration and notify us of your move online, we can send you the certificate. If you need the deregistration certificate immediately, please make an appointment at the counter.

You can also register your move at the counter. Make an appointment to do so . Bring your proof of identity with you. If you are moving with your family (spouse, registered partner and/or children), all family members must accompany you to the appointment. Family members who are not moving with you must also attend.

Are there family members who are not moving with you? Then come to the appointment together. Please bring your identification.
