Municipality of Aalsmeer: deregistering from the municipality in the event of a long stay outside the Netherlands
Please note: you can report that you are moving outside the Netherlands only if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.
You need the following when reporting your move:
- Your DigiD or your citizen service number (BSN).
- The citizen service number of your partner and/or children, if you are also reporting the move for them.
If you are moving alone with your minor child(ren), then you also need:
- A signed letter of consent from the other parent / legal guardian(s) of your child(ren).
- A copy of the identity documents of the other parent / all legal guardians.
Online
Report your move abroad online
Is everyone from your household moving to the same address abroad? If so, then you can also report the move online for your spouse or civil partner and your (minor) children. If you have a cohabitation agreement, then you and your partner need to report the move abroad separately.
At the service desk
If only some of your household are moving from your current address to the same address abroad, then each person who is moving abroad must confirm the move in person at the town hall.
An appointment to do this at the town hall must be made in advance (in Dutch). You can also call: +31 297 38 75 75.
Reporting a move is free of charge.
