Municipality of Dijk en Waard: applying to get married
You register your marriage with the municipality and provide all the details of yourself, your partner and your witnesses. This is possible up to 2 weeks before the wedding date. You do this at the town hall.

You and your partner declare the intended marriage or registered partnership together. You must do this at least 2 weeks and at most 1 year before the wedding date. The details of the day and the necessary forms are filled in at the town hall. For this you need the following:
- a valid proof of identity for you and your partner (passport, identity card, driving license or residence permit).
- a copy of the ID of your witnesses (minimum 2, maximum 4 for you together).
There is a fee associated with the ceremony.
