Municipality of Oisterwijk: applying for special social assistance

• You are over 18 years old and live in Oisterwijk
• You live in the municipality of Oisterwijk
• You have not yet paid the costs yourself
• Your net income is lower than 120% of the social assistance standard and you do not have too many assets (own money)
• Is your net income or assets too high, but you are in the WSNP or municipal debt relief? Then you can still apply for this
• Is your net income or capital too high, but you have high costs for example for rent and healthcare? Then you may be partially entitled to special assistance

You apply for special assistance using the Special Assistance and minimum schemes application form. You must include a quote of the costs you will incur and information about your income and assets.

• We only reimburse you for expenses you actually incur. So keep receipts/offers, invoices and bank statements well.
• If anything changes in your financial or personal situation, you can report this using the change form.
• You can apply for special assistance throughout the year. Usually you must submit the application before you have incurred the expenses. In some situations, you can apply within one month of incurring the expenses.

We make a decision based on personal circumstances. We will look at this in your application. You will receive a letter within 8 weeks stating whether you are entitled to special assistance. If this is the case, we will transfer this amount to the provider or to you as quickly as possible.
