Municipality of Dronten: applying for special social assistance
Do you have a low income and, due to exceptional circumstances, have additional expenses you can't afford? You can sometimes apply for compensation. These could include legal aid or guardianship costs, for example. This compensation is called special assistance.
Medical expenses are generally not reimbursed.
You are eligible for special assistance if you have no means of payment from income and/or assets and it concerns reimbursement of necessary costs that are not normally incurred, but are now incurred due to exceptional circumstances.

You will receive notification from the municipality within eight weeks as to whether you are eligible for the special assistance you have applied for.
