Municipality of Vlaardingen: applying for an Attestatie de vita (Certificate of life)

You can apply for an Attestatie de vita  (certificate of life) from the municipality where you live and are registered. You can only make the application yourself. Someone else cannot do it for you. You must make an appointment with the municipality to apply for a certificate of life.

  • Send a letter to gemeente Vlaardingen, t.a.v. Burgerzaken, Postbus 1002, 3130 EB Vlaardingen.
  • State in the letter why you need the certificate .
  • State to which address we need to send it. We do not provide a digital copy.
  • Sign the letter.
  • Send a copy of you ID with the letter.
  • We will send you the certificate withing 5 working days.

  • You will receive the certificate immediately.
