Applying for an Attestatie de vita (Certificate of life) in the Netherlands

With an Attestatie de vita document you can prove to organisations outside the Netherlands that you are alive. Organisations may ask for such a proof. Do you need such a proof in the Netherlands? Then you can use the document ‘Bewijs van in leven zijn’ (Proof of being alive) for the same purpose. You can request both documents from the municipality where you are registered.
