Municipality of Zutphen: applying for an allowance for own contribution to childcare costs
Please note: you can apply for the compensation for personal contribution to kinderopvangtoeslag (childcare allowance) only if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.
You are eligible for compensation if one of the following situations applies to you and your partner:
- You receive bijstandsuitkering (social welfare benefits) and are following a reintegration programme to find work.
- You receive social welfare benefits and are following a mandatory inburgering (civic integration) programme with an approved institution.
- You work and receive supplementary social welfare benefits.
- You are studying and earn the minimum wage.
- You are under the age of 27, have no basic qualifications and are receiving support from the municipality to return to education.
- Your social welfare benefits are going to cease because you have found a job. In that situation, you will receive a one-off payment of €300.
You must meet the following conditions:
- You receive childcare allowance from the Belastingdienst (Tax and Customs Administration).
- You, your partner and your child are registered with the municipality of Zutphen.
If your income is less than 110% of the minimum income, you may be eligible for compensation. You can request this via e-mail: kindergarten@zutphen.nl.
