Municipality of Hengelo: applying for an allowance for own contribution to childcare costs

Please note: you can apply for the compensation for personal contribution to kinderopvangtoeslag (childcare allowance) only if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.

You are eligible for compensation if one of the following situations applies to you and your partner:

• You receive bijstandsuitkering (social welfare benefits) and are following a reintegration programme to find work.
• You receive social welfare benefits and are following a mandatory inburgering (civic integration) programme with an approved institution.
• You work and receive supplementary social welfare benefits.
• You are studying and earn the minimum wage.
• You are under the age of 18, receive social welfare benefits and are following a course.
