Municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee: applying for an allowance for own contribution to childcare costs

Childcare allowance is a (partial) reimbursement for the costs of childcare. For example, if your children go to a daycare center, playgroup, before and after school care (VSO and BSO) or childminder.

Description

You can apply for the supplement if:

you and your partner work during the day
you are following a course
you receive benefits and follow a reintegration process

The amount of benefit you receive depends on your income, the number of children and the type of childcare. You can make a test calculation (link is external) yourself at the Tax Authorities to see how much childcare allowance you can receive.

You can receive the supplement for the following types of childcare:

Day care in a crèche or nursery.
Before and after school care for children aged 4 to 12 years.
childminder care. You can only receive an allowance for a childminder who is registered with a registered childminder agency.
Parent participation crèches where a group of parents takes turns looking after their own children.
Own babysitter. The babysitter is registered as a childminder and you pay the babysitter white. You can arrange this through a childminder agency.
Preschool for children from 2.5 to 4 years.

You can apply for the childcare allowance via My Allowances (link is external). For this you need a DigiD login code. You can also request the application form from the tax authorities.
