Municipality of Almelo: applying for an allowance for own contribution to childcare costs
Please note: you can apply for the compensation for personal contribution to kinderopvangtoeslag (childcare allowance) only if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.
You are eligible for compensation if one of the following situations applies to you and your partner:
- Are younger than 18 years old, have social assistance and are following a course
- Are a student at an educational institution that is mentioned in the Student Finance Act (Wsd) or the Education Contributions and School Expenses Act (Wtos) and only has income from student finance
- Are you following a (re)integration process and receiving social assistance or if you receive an IOAW, IOAZ or General Surviving Dependents Act?
You must meet the following conditions:
- You receive childcare allowance from the Belastingdienst (Tax and Customs Administration).
- You, your partner and your child are registered with the municipality of Almelo.
