Province of Zeeland: requesting permission for an event on or next to a provincial waterway

If you are planning to organise an event on or along a provincial waterway, you must report this to the provincial authorities. Sometimes notifying the authorities is not enough, for example if your event poses a risk to the safety and flow of shipping traffic. In that case you must request permission from the provincial authorities.

The conditions for notification include:

You wish to organise a short event in, on or above a provincial waterway.
The waterway is managed by the province.
There is no risk to safety or to the smooth flow of water traffic.

You must apply for authorisation if there is a risk to safety or to the smooth flow of water traffic. As a starting point, you can assume that you will get permission if the event takes place outside shipping hours.
