Municipality of Vlaardingen: registering with the municipality
Report your address to the local authority of the town you are gonna live.
If noone is registered at the address, you can report online with DigiD: Inloggen met DigiD - Vlaardingen
If someone is also registered at the address, you can report by mail or at the city hall by appointment.
All family members who wish to be registered must come to the appointment with you. This includes babies, young children and elderly people.
- copy of ID
- copy of your lease of buy contract
- are you gonna live with someone: that person has to fill out and sign the form verhuisformulier (pdf, 25 kB) and provide a copy of their ID
- written permission of the housing association Waterweg Wonen or Samenwerking, if you are gonna live in on of their houses

Are you moving into a house of the housing association Waterweg Wonen or Samenwerking, fill out the form inwoning Samenwerking en Waterweg Wonen (pdf, 239 kB)
Registration is free of charge. You must pay the costs of translating or legalising official documents that you may need to take with you.
The municipality will register you in the Basisregistratie Personen – BRP (Personal Records Database) during the actual appointment. You will receive a confirmation letter. The municipality will send your citizen service number (BSN) by post within 3 weeks.
