Municipality of Groningen: registering a foreign document
Do you want to register a foreign deed? To do so, you must make an appointment with the municipality.

- Your deed must be in the Dutch, English, German or French language.
- You can have your deed translated by an official translator.
Bring with you
- Valid passport or ID card.
- Original documents (some documents must be translated and certified).
If you also have to report an immigration, you can bring the documents with you during that appointment.
The registration of a foreign document is free of charge.
