Registering the ending of a civil partnership in the civil registry in the Netherlands

Has a judge ruled to end your partnership? Then you will have to register the ruling at the municipality within six months. Is the termination done through a lawyer or civil-law notary? Then you will have to register this at the municipality within three months. Agree on who will do this: you, your lawyer, or your civil-law notary. Registration always takes place with the municipality where the partnership was entered into.
