Municipality of Tiel: registering a death

You need the following documents to register a death:

• Valid proof of identity of the person reporting the death.
• Declaration of death The envelope stating the cause of death (B envelope for Statistics Netherlands).
• If postponement of cremation/burial is necessary: ​​statement of no objection issued by a medical practitioner.
• Possibly the marriage booklet for updating information about the deceased.
