Municipality of Ridderkerk: registering a death
Your funeral director usually arranges the declaration of death. As a surviving relative, you can also do this yourself. You file a report in the municipality where the person died. The municipality draws up a death certificate and gives permission for the funeral.
Declaration by surviving dependants
You can register the death yourself. You must do this in the municipality where your loved one died. Make an appointment with the municipality of Ridderkerk.
