Municipality of Dronten: registering a death
The funeral home will register the death. The funeral director will also arrange permission for burial or cremation.

If you are not using a funeral home, or if you would like to register the death in person, you can make an appointment.
What do you need for a digital death declaration?
eHerkenning;
Chamber of Commerce registration number;
the deceased's Citizen Service Number;
iDeal login details (you pay immediately upon online declaration);
certificate of natural death from the attending physician. If a death certificate has been issued by the Municipal Health Service (GGD), the GGD will forward it to the municipality. In that case, you do not need a B-envelope;
B-envelope. This contains a form on which the physician has completed the cause of death for Statistics Netherlands (CBS). Please submit the B-envelope as soon as possible (without an appointment) to Dronten town hall. Or you can send it as soon as possible to:

Note: It is important that you immediately write down the death certificate number on the B-envelope in the designated box after registering the death online. A valid passport or identity card must be included.
What do you need for reporting the death at the counter?
A valid passport or identity card;
A bank card for payment;
A doctor's statement;
A doctor's statement and request for a postponement;
A consent form from the public prosecutor and the Municipal Health Service (GGD) (only in the case of unnatural death);
Envelope B (this envelope is for Statistics Netherlands (CBS). It contains a form from the doctor. The envelope is sealed and must not be opened).

A fee must be paid for a copy of a death certificate, or for expediting or postponing permission for burial or cremation.
