Municipality of Bernheze: registering a death

A death must be registered in the local authority where the person died.

If someone dies abroad, their next of kin must report this as soon as possible to the local authority where the deceased last lived. As soon as the official documents from abroad are available, you should send them to the local authority. These documents often have to meet specific requirements. You should therefore contact the local authority in advance.
