Municipality of Vlissingen: registering a civil partnership

For convenience, we use the term 'marriage'. By this, we also mean a registered partnership. The same rules apply to both registrations.

Before a marriage can take place, the persons concerned must make a 'notification of intended marriage'. In the past, this was called 'banns or marriage registration'.
This notification must be made by the prospective couple at least 2 weeks and at most a year before the wedding date at the municipality where they want to get married.
