Municipality of Maastricht: registering a birth
Please notify the municipality within 3 days of the birth of your child. There are 2 ways to do this.
Online
It is best to register the birth online using your DigiD. If we need to follow up with you, we will contact you by telephone.
By telephone
If you are unable to register online, please ring us on +31 (0)43 350 4040.
Registering a birth is free of charge. You pay a fee for a copy of the birth certificate. Contact the municipality for more information.
