Was your child born in the municipality of Hoogeveen? Inform the municipality within 3 business days of the birth. You can make an appointment online.

You do not have to apply for the citizen service number (BSN) separately. You will receive this automatically.

Valid proof of identity (passport, ID card or driver's license) of both parents
Your marriage booklet or partnership booklet, if you would like your child to be included in it
The extract of the recognition of the unborn child and the certificate of choice of name
