Discount

Gray container

If you put your gray container at the side of the road less often, you will receive a discount on your waste collection charge.

You live alone:

8 to 10 times: € 5 discount
5 to 7 times: € 10 discount
0 to 4 times: € 15 discount

You live together with 2 or more people:

17 to 19 times: € 5 discount
14 to 16 times: € 10 discount
11 to 13 times: € 15 discount
8 to 10 times: € 20 discount
5 to 7 times: € 25 discount
0 to 4 times: € 30 discount

Underground container

The discount on your waste collection charge depends on the number of times per year you open an underground container.

You live alone:

36 to 50 times: € 5 discount
21 to 35 times: € 10 discount
0 to 20 times: € 15 discount

You live together with 2 or more people:

81 to 95 times: € 5 discount
66 to 80 times: € 10 discount
51 to 65 times: € 15 discount
36 to 50 times: € 20 discount
21 to 35 times: € 25 discount
0 to 20 times: € 30 discount

Declaration form

Every year you will receive a declaration form for your municipal taxes by post or e-mail. This states how much waste collection tax you have to pay and before what date.

Terms

Waste levy is part of your annual municipal taxes. You can pay your municipal taxes in one go or in 10 installments by direct debit.

Waiver

Do you have little or no income? Then you can ask whether the municipality approves that you do not pay (part of) your waste collection levy. This is called a waiver. You can apply for a waiver online.

If you disagree with the way of taxation of your waste collection charges, you can object to this online or in writing.
