Relief
You can ask the municipality whether you are entitled to an exemption for paying part of the charge. That expemtion is referred to as kwijtschelding. Whether you are entitled to an exemption depends on your personal situation. For more information, contact the municipality.
If you disagree with the assessment, you can file an objection. Include the assessment number in your objection and explain why you don't agree with it.
An objection to the waste tax assessment must be submitted within 6 weeks of the date of the assessment. You can submit this objection via the online Tax Portal; more information can be found at www.koggenland.nl/bezwaar.
