Variable rate

You pay for every time you dispose of waste. These rates apply:

• 140 liter container: € 7.20
• 240 liter container: € 12.40
• 30 liter waste bag: € 1.53

Waste levy per assessment

You will receive an assessment from the municipality stating how much waste exemption you must pay. The assessment also states how you must pay. And by what date this has to be done.

Pay in time

Make sure you pay on time. Otherwise you will have to pay a fine.

Remission

Can't pay the municipal taxes? Then you can ask the municipality whether you do not have to pay (part of) the levy. This is called a waiver. Whether you are entitled to remission depends on your income and the assets of you and your partner, if any. You can apply for a remission via the website of the municipality of Hof van Twente.
