The municipality has the clean task of collecting waste from all homes in Bernheze. You pay waste disposal charges for this. From this money the municipality collects the household waste and pays for the processing of the waste.

Please note! You only pay afvalstoffenheffing (waste disposal charges) if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.

You pay the waste disposal charges via the combined municipal tax assessment. This also includes the sewerage levy and the property tax (OZB). You will receive this assessment (usually) in February from the BSOB (Belastingsamenwerking Oost-Brabant).
