Municipality of Beek: paying the waste collection charge
Please note. You only pay afvalstoffenheffing (waste disposal charges) if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.
In the municipality of Beek, the rate applies in accordance with the established rate table in that year.
Fixed + variable rate
You pay a fixed rate and a variable rate.
Waste collection charge letter
The Samenwerkende belastingdienst BsGW will send you a letter stating how much you have to pay for waste disposal. It will also state how and by what date you must pay.
Pay on time
Make sure that you pay on time. Otherwise you will have to pay a fine.
Relief
You can ask the Samenwerkende belastingdienst BsGW whether you are entitled to an exemption for paying part of the charge. That expemtion is referred to as kwijtschelding. Whether you are entitled to an exemption depends on your personal situation. You can apply for an exemption via:
