Municipality of Hellendoorn: paying tourist tax
Are you spending the night in a hotel or bed & breakfast in a municipality where you do not live? Then you must pay toeristenbelasting (tourist tax). This tax is included in the price of your overnight stay. You therefore pay it automatically.
The municipality in which you are spending the night applies the following rates:
- camping & groupsaccommodations: € 0,80 per person per nightt;
- (recreation)home and B&B: € 1,24 per person per nightt;
- hotel: € 1,91 per person per nightt;
- fixed location: € 120,00 per year.
