Municipality of Woerden: paying the sewage charge

If you use the sewer, you pay a sewage charge. You will find your sewage charge on your 'Municipal Taxes' tax return form. This only applies if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with the municipality.

Paying sewage charges

Sewage charges are part of your annual municipal taxes.

-You pay your municipal taxes in one go.
-Or in 10 installments via direct debit.

Can't pay your municipal taxes?

-Then you can apply for an exemption.

If you disagree with your municipal taxes, you can object. You can submit your notice of objection online with DigiD or send it to the municipality by post.
