Municipality of Valkenswaard: paying the sewage charge
What is it?
The municipality is responsible for collecting and treating wastewater. To cover these services, the municipality charges a sewer and water care levy.
How does it work?
If you are the owner (according to the Land Registry) of a home or business premises on January 1st, you will receive an assessment for the sewer and water care levy. This is a fixed rate per property.
What does it cost?
The rate for 2025 is set at €225.00 per property.
