You pay a sewage charge for the discharge of water into the municipal sewage system. We will send you a tax assessment for this.
Please note: you only have to pay rioolheffing (sewage charge) if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.
You can find the rates for sewage charges on the municipality's website.
Payment
You will receive a tax assessment from the municipality stating the amount of the sewage charge. It also states how you must pay and when.
