Municipality of Nunspeet: paying the sewage charge
Do you own a home or non-home? Then you will receive a sewage charge assessment. The revenue from the sewerage charge is used to cover the costs associated with the management, maintenance and improvement of the sewerage system and the drainage of rainwater.
- An assessment is imposed on the owner of immovable property if the object is directly or indirectly connected to the municipal sewage system
- The municipality of Nunspeet has different rates for residential and non-residential
- For the assessment of whether there is a question of a non-residential property, a link has been sought with the Real Estate Valuation Act (WOZ Act)
- You pay sewage charges for the entire year. The situation on 1 January is decisive. Are you selling your home or moving house? In that case, this will not affect your sewage charge assessment. When a property is sold, the civil-law notary usually settles the sewage charges with the new owner. If you buy a property during the year, you will not receive an assessment until the following tax year
- We use the proceeds from the sewage charges to pay the costs related to the management, maintenance and improvement of the sewer system and the drainage of rainwater (100% cost-effective)
- If there is no direct or indirect connection to the municipal sewage system, you pay € 19 for the drainage of rainwater
- Per home: € 132.46 (in 2022 € 125)
- Per non-home: € 299 (in 2022 € 275)
- Rainwater only: 19,-
Do you disagree with the sewage charge? You can object
