The sewerage tax is linked to your actual water consumption. The municipality has outsourced the collection of the sewerage tax to Waterbedrijf Vitens. You will not receive a sewerage tax assessment directly from the municipality of Montferland, but this will be charged to you and collected through your Vitens water bill. However, if you do not have a water meter, the sewerage tax will be collected through a municipal tax bill, based on a fixed amount per person.
