Municipality of Maassluis: paying the sewage charge
Do you own a residential or commercial space that is directly or indirectly connected to the municipal sewer system? Then you have to pay sewage charges.
In addition, the municipality of Maassluis has a sewage charge for high-volume users. Users who use more than 1.000 cubic metres of water on an annual basis also pay a user component. Therefore 2 sewage rates apply.
The following rates apply:
- Owner component: € 185,00
- High-volume user component:
a. € 0,4777 per unit from 1.000 m3 to 10.000 m3
b. € 0,1323 per unit from 10.000 m3 to 100.000 m3
c. € 0,1626 per unit from 100.000 m3 to 1.000.000 m3
Payment
You will receive a letter from the municipality stating the amount of the sewage charge. The letter will state how and by what date you must pay.
Paying on time
Pay on time to avoid having to pay extra charges.
Exemption
You cannot apply for an exemption.
