Municipality of Leiden: paying the sewage charge
Please note that you only have to pay sewage tax if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.
The amount of sewage- and watertax you pay each year for your living space depends on the size of your household.
If you use business premises, the yearly amount of tax depends on the market value of the garage or property.
You can find the current rates on the website of Belastingsamenwerking Gouwe-Rijnland (BSGR).
The BSGR will send you an invoice to pay the precario tax.
