Municipality of Enschede: paying the sewage charge
NB. You only have to pay sewage charges if you live in the municipality of Enschede and are registered here. GBTwente collects taxes on behalf of the municipality of Enschede.
You pay € 292,44 up to 500 cubic meters. If you use more than 500 cubic meters and less than 20,001 cubic meters, you pay 30 cents per extra cubic meter.
You will receive a letter from GBTwente stating the amount of the sewage charge. The letter tells you how to pay. And by what date this has to be done.
Pay in time
Pay on time to avoid paying extra.
Remission
You can ask GBTwente whether you do not have to pay (part of) the levy. This is called a waiver. Apply for a remission at GBTwente.
