Municipality of Groningen: paying parking tax

Parking in the municipality of Groningen is in large parts paid. You must then pay parking tax or have a parking permit. You can pay the parking tax at a parking meter or parking app. If you have not paid parking tax or have a parking permit, you will receive an additional assessment for parking tax (parking fine). This is collected by the Noordelijk Belastingkantoor (Northern Tax Office).
