Municipality of Culemborg: paying parking tax

Many people visit the municipality of Culemborg. To keep the historic city center and surrounding streets accessible and liveable for visitors, residents and businesses, paid parking has been introduced in part of the city. From 4 January 2021, paid parking will also apply to electric vehicles.

The following (free) areas are available for long-term parkers: Rozenstraat, Palumbus and
Dr. Hockesingel. For the time being, parking is free at the Mariahof.

If you have not paid for parking, you will receive an additional parking tax. This is called a parking ticket. You will receive this parking ticket from the municipality.

If you have not paid for parking, you will be charged a penalty. This is referred to as a parkeerbon (parking ticket). The collection of additional charges is carried out by Channock Chase in Druten or the CJIB.

The cost of a parking ticket is: € 66,50.

Do you disagree with the charge? If so, you can lodge a complaint. You can do so by email, post or online. You must do so within 6 weeks.
