Municipality of Vlissingen: notifying the municipality when you move home

Are you moving to or within the municipality of Vlissingen? Then you must report this to the municipality of Vlissingen.

• Are you moving from the municipality of Vlissingen to another municipality? Then you report the move to your new municipality;
  You can report the move up to 4 weeks before the moving date. If you have already moved, it must be reported within 5 days. If you report late, the date of reporting will be considered the moving date;
• If the complete declaration is made by post or email, the moving date is the date of receipt by the municipality.
  If the declaration is incomplete, you must provide the missing documents within 3 weeks.

• A valid identification document;
• If you cannot come to the counter in person or submit your emigration online, then use the Change of Address form;
• If you are not the main resident, a signed consent from the main resident. For this, use the residence consent form. You will also need a copy of the main resident's identification document;
• If applicable, a copy of the signed rental or purchase agreement.

Who can submit the change of address notification?

• Anyone who is 16 years or older may report their own move; 
• Parents, guardians, or caregivers report the move for their minor children; 
• Curators report the move for people who are under guardianship;  
• Parents and their adult child or children may report the move for each other. They must live at the same address; 
• Spouses or registered partners may report the move for each other. They must live at the same address. If you are not married or not registered partners, both must report the move; 
• Adults may report the move for persons who have authorized them to do so;  
• Are you in prison? Then a representative of the prison reports your move.
