Please note: you can notify the municipality when you move house only if you live in the Netherlands and are already registered with a municipality.

Log in using your DigiD and provide notification of your move online.
By post
You can also provide notification of your move by post. Send the documents to:

At the service desk
You can also make an appointment to provide notification of your move at your municpality’s service desk.
- Your valid ID
- If you will move in with someone:
- completed 'Declaration of cohabitation'
- copy of a valid ID of the person who signed the declaration.
Notifying of a move is free of charge.
We will update your information. This will take approximately one week from the move date you provide. Do you notify us of your move in advance? We will process your move from the date you give us.
