Municipality of Nieuwkoop: notifying the municipality when you move home
Please note: you can notify the municipality when you move house only if you live in the Netherlands and are already registered with a municipality.
Providing notification of your move
Online
Log in using your DigiD and provide notification of your move online.
By post
You can also provide notification of your move by post.
At the service desk
You can also make an appointment to provide notification of your move at your municpality’s service desk.
You will need the following documents to notify us when you move house:
- a valid identity document or a valid residence permit for the Netherlands.
- Proof of residence, such as a tenancy agreement, deed of sale or statement of consent from the main resident.
Report your move online with DigiD. You do not have to come to the town hall for this.
If reporting online is difficult for you, you can also report your move at the town hall. You can make an appointment for this.
You can also report your move in writing. Send the completed form to Gemeente Nieuwkoop, PO Box 1, 2460 AA Ter Aar. Please also enclose a copy of your proof of identity with your declaration.
It is free to notify a move.
