Please note: you can notify the municipality when you move house only if you live in the Netherlands and are already registered with a municipality.
Providing notification of your move
Online
Log in using your DigiD and provide notification of your move online.
By post
You can also provide notification of your move by post. Go to this website for the form.
At the service desk
You can also make an appointment to provide notification of your move at your municpality’s service desk.
- You change an adress within the municipality of Gennep or move from another municipality to Gennep.
- You are at least 16 years of age
To notify the local government of your move, we request:
- A valid traveldocument for the identification process
- A rental/buyers agreement, or a paper proving that the mainowner has agreed with your stay
The move can be registered online with DigiD, one can make an appointment at the Town Hall, of by post.
It is free to notify a move.
Your move will be processed within 5 working days.
