Exemption from compulsory education
Sometimes it is (temporarily) not possible for a child to attend school or there are special circumstances that mean a child does not have to be enrolled in a school.
Please note: you can only apply for an exemption from compulsory education if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.
