You can exchang your foreign driving licence in person at the service desk at the municipality where you live. First make an appointment. You can make an appointment online (in Dutch) or by phoning +31 71 36 60 000.

Bring to your appointment:

• Valid identity document or residence permit.
• Foreign driving licence.
• A colour passport photo that complies with the Dutch passport photo requirements.
• Debit card (not credit card) or cash.
