Municipality of Elburg: applying for a Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG)

You can apply for a VOG online at the Justis Service if your employer has eHerkenning. If your employer does not have this, you can apply for a VOG digitally or in person from the municipality.

Please note: you can apply for a VOG (certificate of conduct) only if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality. If you are not registered with a Dutch municipality, you can submit your application directly to Dienst Justis.

Please enclose a scan of a completed VOG application form. Or you can apply for the VOG in person at the town hall. You must make an appointment for this. You must bring a valid proof of identity and a completed VOG application form.

VOG at the Justis Service: € 33,85. With your online application you pay these costs directly via iDEAL.
VOG via municipality: € 41,35. You pay the VOG at the town hall or with your online application via iDEAL.

You will receive the VOG or the refusal within 4 weeks at the address you specify in the application.
