Municipality of Amsterdam: applying for support by your municipality for reintegration into the labour market
The municipality of Amsterdam will provide you with support for getting back to work. You will receive guidance, training or courses. The municipality can also help you find somewhere to learn and gain practical experience.
Who is the support for?
- All residents who are looking for work and have not managed to find it themselves.
- All residents who receive or apply for benefits.
Help if you receive benefits
The Work and Reintegration Department (W&R) offers guidance and mediation in internships and work. Your new client supervisor will first invite you for a preliminary interview. During this meeting, you and your client supervisor will discuss what your possibilities are, where you could use support and what W&R can offer you. In general, your client supervisor will then register you for the introductory programme.
