Municipality of Arnhem: applying for study benefit for students with a disability
You are studying, but a chronic illness or disability prevents you from working in addition to full-time study. You may be eligible for study benefit.
- You are taking a full-time course.
- You live within the municipality of Arnhem.
- You cannot work alongside your studies due to a long-term illness or disability.
- You receive study financing from DUO or an allowance under the Wet tegemoetkoming onderwijsbijdrage en schoolkosten (WTOS).
- You do not receive life-long learning credit.
- You do not receive Wajong benefits.
- A copy of a valid identification document (passport or identity card).
- A copy of a recent bank statement (to verify the account number provided).
- Proof that you receive study financing from DUO or an allowance under the Wet tegemoetkoming onderwijsbijdrage en schoolkosten (WTOS).
- If you are doing an internship, you must also include a copy of the internship agreement with the application. This should state the period of the internship and the amount of the internship allowance. If the traineeship fee is higher than € 221.85 per month, the amount above this will be deducted from the study allowance.
