Municipality of Oude IJsselstreek: applying for social assistance

We have chosen a different way of implementing the Participation Act: close to the resident, locally, based on trust and under your own direction. Contact from person to person is the basis for the service. We shape the Participation Act on the basis of the conviction that the vast majority of people on social assistance want to work. Work is key. A paid job for everyone who is currently receiving social security benefits, that is what we want for the future. If that is not (yet) possible, residents participate in our municipality in a different way.
